Merry Character Photography began in 2011 when the bubbly, 19 year old Mary created an idea into a passion which quickly turned into a business that has taken her across the world. Built on the foundation of serving clients with kindness & an abundance of joy, Merry Character Photography is so much more than just your regular photography experience.
Prior to moving across the country with her husband for his job in 2017, Mary hired a full-time employee (who is a rockstar photog) and in 2018 brought on another kick-ass photographer to join the team too! Holly and Bri run and love on the Merry Character Photography clients in Montana State.
Mary and her family moved to Washington State, fall of 2019. Here she has fallen in love with the rain, the green, and has a new appreciation for the sun!

I love the boxes of heart candy you can only get around Valentines Day. I am a sucker for old couples eating together at restaurants. I have a bucket list of places I want to visit.My best friends have been my best friends since we were in elementary school. And I've laughed so hard I have peed my pants.

She is a bundle of ear-to-ear grins paired with the most stoic faces you will ever see. She joined our family in March 2018 and every day since has been a party. She is our little tiny love & I am grateful every day to be able to hug and squeeze her! Our La-La girl is the best!

Ruby Ray joined our family in June 2020 and our hearts have never felt fuller. She fits into our family as if we have never lived a day without her. Right now she loves to be cuddled and everyone is happy to oblige! She is my suga-suga!

He is one of the most dedicated, hard-working people you will ever meet. He prides himself with really bad dad jokes (that he had long before he was a dad), his perfect cup of coffee, and being able to eat a large pizza in one sitting. He is my constant calm & he makes me laugh every single day. I love doing life with this goofball!
